A reply from the Kyjen Company re: Hide-A-Squirrel

20121229-211606.jpgRecently I wrote to the Kyjen Company expressing my disappointment in their Hide-A-Squirrel toy which I purchased for the Border Collie, Cynder for Christmas, you can check that post out “A letter to the Kyjen Company re: Hide-A-Squirrel.I was pleased earlier this week when I received a very generous reply from them.

Kevin:

I’m so sorry to hear that the Hide-A-Squirrel let you down, and I completely understand your frustration.  Thank you so much for taking the time to bring this to our attention. If it has been less than 30 days since your purchase, I would be more than happy to send you a replacement toy.

I will just need proof of purchase (a receipt or picture of the defective product) and your shipping address (keeping in mind that we do not ship to PO boxes). I would also need to know if you would like the same 564840_407266426020618_1549444822_nitem or something different of equal or lesser value from our available products, which you can see here: shop.kyjen.com

Customer satisfaction is our highest priority, so thank you again for the feedback. Please feel free to let us know how the other Kyjen products you purchased hold up,  and again I apologize for the disappointing product.  Thank you for giving us the opportunity to make it up to you!

I really appreciate that Kyjen took the time to respond and to offer a replacement. I have requested another item from their store and hopefully it will be a bit more durable. In the mean time, the Border Collie, Cynder is enjoying her Egg Babies Platypus which seems to be holding up to her mischief!

It’s great that this worked out so well for you, and I hope the replacement toy meets your expectations…I had a great experience with Canon this morning about a new printer that seems to be defective…They are overnight shipping me a replacement, and are also covering shipping to return the one that’s not working…I was quite pleased with their response.

  2. That’s great that they responded so well to your email. I’ve found those at Innova dog food very helpful and personal in helping me sort out my dog’s allergy issues.
